SOLAH "ETERNAL HUMM" LP COMING SOON!

I am happy to announce that final editing and mixing of the first Solah full-length album "Eternal Humm" has been completed. It has been nearly two years in the making, but I am incredibly satisfied with the results and I'm sure you will be as well. Casey Rae-Hunter will be performing the final mastering duties; expect a CD & cassette release sometime in early spring.

SOLAH NEWS - NOVEMBER 2008

It's been awhile since our last post, but Solah has been quite busy. We performed a show on November 5th at The Thrash Can in South Burlington, opening for local doomers Disorc and Richmond, VA crust punks Parasytic. Despite some technical difficulties, Solah put on a brutal show featuring deep drones, a harsh eBow noise solo & some incredible percussion from JB.

In other news, we are happy to report that our first LP, Eternal Humm, is very close to completion. We are finalizing the edits & will be sending it out soon to be mastered by Casey Rae-Hunter. Expect a release in early '09. More news to follow, including a CD release show.

ADDITIONS TO THE SOLAH ARSENAL....

In preparation for some the upcoming Solah premiere live shows this summer, we've acquired some new gear to help us bring the doom. Say hello to Oliver & AC.

Oliver is an Oliver G150R tube combo amp, designed by Ampeg founder Jess Oliver. Oliver will be assisting with experimental percussion duties on the tour. AC is an Acoustic Control Corporation 140 bass head and 2x15 stack. AC will be working together with the Novation Bass Station to push out some stomach turning, subsonic low-end.

In other news, initial mixing has begun on the track "Pavor Nocturnas".
